The Story of Bruce

Bruce found himself in a situation where he was happily renting a property in Thornliebank, but suddenly – his landlord wanted to sell!

Not wishing to lose the home he was happy in, Bruce decided to take the plunge and attempt to purchase his first property. After a conversation with a friend, that friend, currently a client of ABC Mortgages – recommended Bill.

Bill took Bruce through everything from start to finish, including the usual concerns first time buyers find themselves with:

• How much would I need as a deposit?
• How many years can I take it over?
• What would my monthly payments look like?

Bill assessed Bruce’s financial situation allayed his fears and after a fairly simple process:

Not only this, come renewal time Bruce had no hesitation returning to Bill when his mortgage was up for review. They went through the review together and Bill saved Bruce money on his existing mortgage payments (much to his delight!).

Bill also secured protection for Bruce in the event anything should happen to him, with life and critical illness cover.

The Story of Robert

Robert came into contact with Bill as he listed a his flat for sale in Bill’s local estate agency in Ballieston.

Robert already had a certain monthly figure in mind that he was not willing to go over, which is not uncommon when Bill is looking for a mortgage based on strict affordability. This could be tight given where Robert wished to live – but leveraging Bills access to the estate agency, he was able to source a 2 bedroom flat perfect for Robert before it even went to market!

The flat was exceptional AND within Roberts budget – who was understandably delighted!

Through Bill, Robert had sold his existing property, had a new flat sourced and done the mortgage.

Bill then got a new mortgage for the seller of that flat! Thus the successful mortgage cycle continues.
